Pen.

From the Mutepen's quill, graceful tales are told,
Gliding through freedom, where wisdom unfolds.
In words lies peace, a serene, flowing stream,
A world crafted gently, like a quiet dream.

A short story about Mutepen

I believe every word is a feather, and every story a wing. Mutepen is born of the swan. In the still waters of myth and memory, the swan is not just a bird but a guide—companion of Saraswati, goddess of wisdom, who once left the world when her call for peace went unheard. Upon her swan, she departed, carrying with her the eternal reminder: true knowledge is not noise but discernment—the art of separating milk from water, truth from falsehood, essence from excess.

That pursuit is my compass. I am Mutepen.

The name carries its own story. From penne, the old English word for feather, to the swan’s gentle curve of wing, to the ink-stained pen we hold today—the journey from quill to pen is the journey of becoming. It is the story of learning, of stumbling, of rising, of transforming, like the cygnet of Andersen’s fable, who discovered in time that he was not a duck but a swan.

I write to seek, to test, to distill —wandering through personal experiences in the Blog, tracing meaning in both the ordinary and the extraordinary; weaving in the Story Book fables where foliage and fauna whisper truths older than language; and in the Writing Lab, unfolding the craft itself, from the sharp edges of technical writing to the wide sky of storytelling, from the precision of SEO to the courage it takes to begin a book of one’s own.

Mutepen is not a persona but a practice. To write is to discern. To tell stories is to seek. To pursue true knowledge is to move beyond the surface of the world and drink only its essence.

I am Mutepen. And my words are my wings.
